How to use your Guitar for Jam Legend

First off your going to need to connect what ever type of guitar you have to your PC.

If you have an Xbox/PS3/PC guitar this is as easy as plugging it in to your USB socket.

HOWEVER if you have a PS2, Wii, Wireless, or other controller, you will need to buy:
For ps2 guitars: A ps2 - Usb converter
For Wii Guitars: You can use a bluetooth

After your controller is hooked up to your PC, Download Xpadder HERE

Once Xpadder is installed it will search for any type of controller you may have,
After it finds it the top should look something like this:Using your Guitar Hero, Or Rock Band Guitar. Somthingtm3 Once you see the name of your guitar at the top click the name.

A big pink box should show up, with a bunch of tabs on the bottom.

Click on the "Dpad" tab.

It should prompt you to click up then down, then left, then right. Simply strum up on your guitar, then down, then on your dpad press left and right.

Now click Buttons, and press all your fret buttons, and your pause button, (Little boxes should appear).

After that click Finish. and you should go back to the Xpadder console, with a whole bunch of little boxes in the middle, Press your frets in order, after you click each fret, it should light a box, click the box and map each fret , they should be in order 12345 when you press them, but since the controller is not designed in order it will be 12435, unless your left, then reverse.

Now map your Strum bar the same way , make upstrum enter and downstrum shift. And lastly map your pause button to space.

Mine looks like this (I'm Lefty Flip):

After your done simply play. Make sure to leave xpadder running when you play.

If i missed anything let me know.

I prefer the strat over anything for JL for some reason. I'm just weird like that.

I like the strat too. Once you get used to the strum bar it's amazing. Smile
