True. It tells me its now in Beta but seems Invites weren't taken out yet. I tried making a new account and invite codes are still needed.

I think that on the Main page, where it says: "JamLegend is in Beta"
Before it said: "JamLegend is in Private Beta"

ah, I see, Perhaps when they remain the main page they forgot the word "private"?
